Biography

Harri Honko leads the MyData reference architecture, regulatory analysis and SDK development work in Finnish research organisations’ joint research program, Digital Health Revolution that started in 2014. He is a co-editor of the MyData principles white paper, Kantara Initiative CIS WG Consent Receipt draft recommendation and is responsible for the MyData SDK that is aimed at lowering the developer side bar to adoption of MyData principles for companies and organisations.

He has a M.Sc. degree in signal processing and has been conducting technology research, management and strategy at corporate world for 15 years prior to co-founding first a mHealth startup GreyCrunch a mobile health coaching and self-care service in 2011. He joined Tampere University of Technology in 2013. Most recently he keeps a co-founder and product lead position at Wellness Warehouse Engine (W2E) health and wellness data aggregation and PDS service start-up. He has commercialisation and R&D experience with PHR-integrated health and wellness data, mobile services, digital service architecture design and cloud computing frameworks. His current interests include MyData, OAuth profiles for health data use cases, health data interchange with FHIR, Data as a Service and ‘little big data’, longitudinal data analytics over individual’s horizontal personal data sets.
