Sulka Haro

Sulka Haro is a software industry veteran, with 20 years of experience ranging from multimedia CD-ROM production to mobile game development. His recent projects includes founding a 3D printed toys startup and working as the Executive Producer for The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land.

Sulka’s son was diagnosed with Type-1 Diabetes at two years of age. During the next few years, he started participating in hacking medical electronics and open source medical software development to help manage the condition as part of the #wearnotwaiting moment. Today, he’s contributing to the development of a cloud-based system for visualizing blood glucose data online (Nightscout) and an artificial pancreas system (OpenAPS).
