Timo Seppälä

Dr. Timo Seppälä holds the position of Post-Doctoral Researcher at Aalto University, and Senior Research Associate at ETLA, the Research Institute of the Finnish Economy. Currently Seppälä teaches Operation Management and Advanced Operation Management at Aalto University and co-heads a collaborative research and policy program between Berkeley Roundtable of International Economy (BRIE) ans ETLA, focusing on Work and Wealth in the Era of Digital Platforms. Seppälä’s area of expertise lies in global supply chain analysis and in digitalization management and policy. Earlier in his carrier he served in several management and executive positions at Valmet, Freebolt Cobolt, Oracle, Elcoteq, SAP and Nomovok.
